Two Very Different Kinds of Slab in One Zip Code
Fuquay-Varina is the most varied service area we cover. On one side you have rapid new construction along Judd Parkway, Sunset Lake Road and out toward Bridgewater and Hilltop-Needmore, with clean modern slabs and oversized garages. On the other you have detached shops, pole barns and older farmhouse garages on multi-acre lots south of Main Street, where the concrete may be forty years old, unsealed, and saturated with decades of equipment oil.
Those two slabs need completely different prep. New concrete needs moisture testing and aggressive mechanical profiling to break a burnished surface. Old farm concrete needs degreasing, oil-spot treatment, spall rebuilds and crack chasing before a single drop of resin is worth applying.
